Ezine Articles

Ezine Articles

If you’re passionate about your business, chances are you can use that knowledge and experience to help. One of the best ways you can promote yourself, your business and your website is by writing an article for online magazines, otherwise known as Ezines. These online publications are often run by hobbyists or underpaid webmasters and they’re glad to publish well-written and helpful content to save themselves the time of writing it themselves.

Pick a subject about your business where you feel your article will be helpful and picked up by several ezines. Then, write a well written, high-quality article about 1000-1500 words long, covering a particular subject or answering some commonly misunderstood questions.  Within this content, be sure to include 1 to 2 keyword rich links (no more than 2) linking to your site as  a reference point, and make sure your name and website is linked in the resource box, then submit it to 4-6 high-quality free article repositories, including a synopis and your resources, like Articles Factory.

If you’ve done a good job, you should get picked up by a few of them and published! Be sure to you include Publishing Guidelines and a Creative Commons License to protect your content. The relevance of your aritcle along with the links back to your site will multiply as they are picked up, and you’ve done yourself a service while hopefully helping the public.

Twitter, Facebook, Myspace… they’re taking over television and daily conversation. Social Media Marketing is just one of the many ways companies are rushing to stay up to date with the ever changing advertising world. When you’re watching the news and you hear at the end, “Our Twitter and Facebook is…..” it’s not a foreign language, it’s how people keep in touch with their friends, family and business network.

Although time consuming, these mediums are essential to making a presence in the business and social community today. And staying a part of who’s on top is imperative as well. As we all have seen, Myspace seemend to take over the world at first, but has fallen by the wayside to Facebook, but now Twitter may be moving ahead to first place. Who’s next? Some companies have even hired full time employees just to represent their business on  these social networks.

Stay ahead of the game and use these mediums wisely, but don’t allow them to take over your day.  Each one offers their own tools and usability to help save time and energy. Now get out there and “Tag” someone.
